deng zi is a sensorial stool which takes on inspiration from the local aspects of Singapore as well as relaxing sensorial experiences from the beach. The main aim is to relief parents stress when they bring their children to the beach.
What is this project?
In collaboration with Sentosa, the main aim of this project is to create a sustainable sensory furniture that would be placed anywhere within Sentosa itself. In my case, I created a sensory stool with the aim main of relieving parents' stress through the recreation of sensory experiences at the beach.

Taking inspiration from Chinese traditional stools, it would give the overall design of the stool to be both rustic and modern, catering to parents as well as children.
